To-Do List Experiment

Do you have days when you simply get nothing done?

Or do you start many tasks and complete nothing? Or you complete the tasks, just not in a way that is actually pleasing or satisfactory?

I have this problem.

My To-Do List always seems to be out of control and I get so overwhelmed by it. It’s so much easier to just ignore the whole lot.

This is problematic. I stress when I don’t get things done, it makes me really unhappy and I know that all of the unfinished jobs are simply going to carry over to the next day. Not Good.

So this week I am going to conduct a little To-Do List life experiment.

I will be choosing “critical” task to complete everyday, I will be posting about them on facebook for accountability – I need you guys to keep me honest.

Day 1: Make a Weekly Meal Plan for May.
Day 2: Organise my Media Kit (This one may take more than one day depending on kidlets behaviour.)
Day 3: Create House Keeping Plan.
Day 4: Organise my Blogging Schedule.
Day 5: Clean out Fridge and write Pantry/Freezer Inventory.

This is what I want to achieve this week. After I complete these daily tasks I plan on continuing with my daily sewing/blogging but the daily tasks are the priority.

Not overburdening my daily schedule with critical tasks will reduce stress levels and result in a more productive me!

Do you overburden yourself with tasks?

This post is my response to Week 16 of the Simplify Your Life 52 Week Challenge. Want to simplify your life?
